Thank you for support. This is a deliberately long piece that I was almost not going to publish. Social media generally encourages short sound bites and click bait which is one of the reasons why, until now, i've stayed away from it for a long time.

But the situation in Palestine and elsewhere is so serious that we need to let people know the truth as much as possible. In this long piece I have tried to share resources so people can do their own research or look into things deeply for themselves, whilst also trying to put in analyses and nuance that can give people a deeper view if they don't have too much time but still want to look into things more deeply.

My next few pieces will be shorter but every once in a while I hope to write a longer piece with a deeper dive into the subject.
